As an active kid, I took part in many athletic activities, but wasn’t really zeroed in on one sport until high school. Having a mixed background of paddleboarding, surfing, martial arts, hiking, and track & field, and more helped me to gain athleticism and perspective. But when nagging injuries started to hold me back when training for team sports, I used my connections (my father was a professional sports broadcaster) to seek out some of the most knowledgeable people in the world of sports physiology: from functional strength coaches, to kinesiologists, nutritionists, massage therapists, yoga and Pilates instructors, martial arts masters, sprint coaches, kettlebell gurus, PGA golf pros, and more. I took my frustrations of being a needlessly injured D1 athlete and turned that into a system that allows you to work hard and not worry about getting injured. We can customize the program to fill in your weaknesses, help you improve in all categories (not just relying on hype and silly exercises), and make sure that each month in our program gets you closer to where you need to be. It’s my life’s work and I can’t wait to help you find your groove and get into the body you dream of and deserve!

In our 5,000 sf indoor private facility, there is 2,000 sf of turf, six Rogue squat racks, 15,000 lbs of weights, kettlebells, and dumbbells, Airdyne bikes, Versaclimbers, wireless heart-rate trackers, Medballs, plyometric equipment, as well as a recovery area with self-myofascial release tools and everything you need to undo the stress of training and life so you stay healthy and happy. Our amazing members and staff are the glue that holds it all together.

Your Sports Performance Coordinators

We’ve helped more South Shore teens become Olympians, professional athletes, Division I athletes, college athletes, All-Americans, and State & National Champions than any other training facility on the South Shore.

Today’s teen athletes train and compete nearly year-round, often with schedules as demanding as professional players’, without the full-time support team that pros rely on. No nutritionist. No full-time strength coach. No sports psychologist. No performance coordinator to keep everything balanced and make sure no one is burning out.

That responsibility usually falls on the parents.

Shea Training exists to change that. We act as your athlete’s High Performance Director, providing simple systems to balance training, recovery, nutrition, and competition year-round, so they stay healthy, perform at their best, and reach their full potential.
